House, formerly hall house. Early c16. Rendered on timber frame. Steep plain
tiled roof, hipped with gablet to right. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration of
5 windows. Central door with flat projecting hood. Interior: timber-framed
smoke bay with later brick chimney inserted in it. Staircase with solid treads,
probably C17. Original roof with side purlins and straight wind braces.
