House pair. Circa 1830. Yellow stock brick with low pitched hipped slate roof, and
stacks and central ridge stack. Two storeys; 5 window symmetrical front, glazing bar
sashes in surrounds with gauged heads. Small shop window to left of centre, larger
shop window with central doorway at right-hand end, both C20. Entrance to Hortondene
in second bay from left with segmental gauged brick arched head. Modern panelled door
with radiating arch-light over. Included for group value only.
