Including No 1 Market Place (Corner of Market Street).

Early C19. Plain two storey stuccoed building. Two and three window elevations. Centre window first floor to Hotel Street is blind. Large sashes with glazing bars. A balcony with good cast iron railings which ran round both elevations has been removed. Large later C19 shop fronts on three sides with fluted pilasters. Tarred slate roof, hipped.

No 10 together with No 14 Knight and Garter P.H. The City Rooms and Extension, Hotel Street, form a group.
