House and former Malthouse. C17, extended to rear in C19. Timber framed to right
and exposed to centre with brick infilling, sandstone rubble to ground floor left
with brick dressings, red and brown brick to right and tile hung to first floor
left and centre. Plain tiled roofs. Two storeys over basement where ground drops
away to rear. Front stack to right of centre, rear ridge stack to right. Three
first floor casements and one window to ground floor. Small door in brick dressed
surround to left. Part glazed door with flanking small window to right. Central
alley entrance with steps leading down to C19 wing at rear. Glazing bar sash
fenestration.
