Circa 1840-50 lock keeper's cottage facing lock. Two storey red brick with
burnt brick rusticated raised quoins. Hipped slate roof with heavy conical
chimney stacks. Three bay slightly asymmetrical front with 2-light casements
in chamfered reveals. Small canted bay window with iron glazing to left hand.
Chamfered reveal doorway.
