Circa 1855 substantial, 5 bay, 2 storey Calthorpe Estate villa. Stucco faced with hipped slate roof. Corniced stucco chimneys with arcaded panels. The chanelled ground floor has canted bay windows throughout, rising from moulded sills on ground and with Corinthian pilasters dividing the sash lights. Richly modelled Corinthian column porch. Ground floor entablature with dentil cornice broken forward over bays and porch, the blocking course acting as sill course to the first floor windows. There are round headed, in moulded reveals, with a roll moulded string at import level arched up over heads from angled acanthus leaf stops. Bed mould to main frieze of incised key pattern and moulded bed to the flat eaves. Stringcourses etc returned to side elevations. South side has approximately contemporary wooden conservatory arcaded lights, the dividers capped by consoles. Ridge lantern.
