TF 82 SW ROUGHAM THE STREET
(east side)

1/48 Ponder's Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C18 and later. Brick with pantiled roofs. T plan with L
plan end addition. 2 storeys. South facade of 3 bays of C19 sash windows
with single vertical glazing bars beneath skewback arches. Tripartite
ground floor window to right of central front door and later canted bay
to left. Arched doorcase with broken dentilated pediment, pilasters and
paterae. Sawtooth cornice, gable-end stacks and tumbling-in. Service
wing with an early C19 raised canted bay with a miniature modillion cornice
and 3 sash windows with glazing bars. Weather boarded below. Plain den-
tilated cornice.
