Mid C18 near - symmetrical composition.
No 4 (centre block) four storeys and basement, four windows. Upper storey probably later as it is above substantial moulded wood cornice. Nos 3 and 5 are two-storeys, attic and basement wings to No 4. Slated mansard roofs, hipped at ends, with one square dormer each. No 3 has two-storey, one-window right extension with parapet concealing roof.
No 5 has three-storey and attic left extension with mansard roof extended over. Multicoloured stock brick, all with parapet fronts. Some rebuilding to parapet of No 5. Stone bands at first and second floor of No 4. Gauged, flat red brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars, mostly replaced, in flush, moulded frames. No 3 has modern glazed door in reproduction classical doorcase with open pediment.
No 4 has door of six beaded panels with triple sunk panel pilasters supporting enriched cornice head. Handsome wide patterned radial fanlight under gauged round brick arch. No 5 has six-panel door between fluted pilasters with feather capitals. Moulded cornice head broken back in centre. Patterned radial fanlight under round gauged brick arch.
Fire insurance signs on first floors of all three houses.
Nos 1 to 6 (consec), and Walls form a group.
