2/70 Barn about 30 metres west
of Hillend Farmhouse


Barn. C17 with C19 alterations. Timber-frame, weatherboarded, on brick plinth,
corrugated iron roof. 7 bays, 4 bay threshing barn to south-east end, threshing
floor north-west of centre; other 3 bays partially floored used as animal
housing. Framing: 3 square panels high to wall-plate, trusses mainly have
raking struts without collar.
