C18 with modern 1-storey shop front extension. 2 storeys and attics in colour-washed brick with pantile roof with brick gable ends. Modern tiles to No 39. Centre of 1 bay projects slightly. 5 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, stucco flat arches with keystones. 3 pedimented dormers, central pediment segmental. Moulded eaves cornice. Outbuildings of the period front Castledyke West.
