4/313 House to north-west
- of Farningham Oast.
- II

Farmhouse, now house. C16, extended in C17, and restored in C20. Timber-framed
with painted plaster infill. Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to north.
Tallon half-hipped block to north. Tall oversailing stack on ridge at north
end with gabled dormer to left. Two storeys and attic to north. Irregular
fenestration of 4 windows on first floor and 5 on ground floor. Low pitched C20
extension projecting to right with stack at eaves. Various projections to rear.
Interior: Heavy timber-frame visible and brick stack with wooden bressummer
arch fireplace on ground floor. Queen post roof with continuous side purlins.
Roll-moulded beams on ground and first floors.
