GV II*

Small fragment of the main block of the c1570 house, now cottage. Circa 1570,
much restored, altered and extended. c1930-40 red, with some blue brick. Plain
tiled roof, hipped to right with projecting breast and very tall stack, and partly hipped to left with very large framed half-hip over. Tall stack to rear.
Two storeys; 2-window front, slightly irregular with large wooden diamond
lattice casements in segment-headed surrounds. The lintel of a transom and
mullion window with drip-mould area remains on the west face and on the first
floor of the east front survives a blocked doorway with possible blocked doorway
below, that above with surround moulded on the inside. Two storey brick and
tile-hung extension of c1930-40 to north.
