House at end of unit of 3, returning to St Alban Street.
c1800. Flemish bone brickwork, painted to the ground floor,
slate double mansard roof.
2 storeys, attic and basement, 1 window; a 3-light original
flat-roofed dormer above tripartite 4:12:4-pane sash with
mullions. Ground floor has, set low to the right, a slight bow
oriel in 16 panes plus returns, with a moulded cornice; below
this a part of the original basement window is visible, but
mainly covered by the pavement, the area having been filled.
To the left is a blind window at first floor above a panelled
door on 4 stone steps. A fluted band above the ground-floor
window, a small modillion eaves cornice, and 2 stacks to the
right gables.
The front to St Alban Street has a large canted oriel with
8:12:8-pane sash, with dentil cornice and above a skirt
centred to the first floor, and to the left a slightly bowed
shop front in 4:16:4-panes.
Rear has 2 dormers, and a 12-pane sash at ground and first
floors; there are small extensions.
