In Modern Movement style and having metal windows, mostly of 2 or 3 lights, with tile cills, concrete lintels, and horizontal glazing bays on ground and first floors. Road elevation: 6 bays; entrance, in bay 4, has curved flanking attached pilasters supporting curved-cornered canopy and full-height stair-window with glazing bars above. Curved-cornered projecting bays to bays 1 and 6 with full-width, curved-cornered, windows. Rear elevations plainer, but with similar entrance and stair window. Interior: flats "have wooden floors; panelled cupboards and doors, some with overlights; tile window cills; some surviving original fireplaces with polished stone surrounds and tiled hearths. Stairs have dado rail and plain stair rails with wooden handrails.
Together with the block containing flats nos 16- 57, the swimming pool with pump-house, and the pond in the sunken garden (qqv), this range forms an impressive 1930s luxury-apartment development in the Modern Movement style.
