Hall-house, now farmhouse. C15 with Cl7 and C19 additions. Timber-framed on
red brick plinth with weatherboarded ground floor and tile hung first floor.
Plain tiled roof. Half hipped to right, steeped down to left with hip. Baffle
entry plan to right with remains of small hall to right. 2 storeys with small
ridge stack to right. Irregular 3 window front with panelled door topped by
triangular pediment to left of right hand ground floor window. Interior: Sub-
stantial timber framing with heavily jowled posts in left hand (eastern) range.
Hall truss visible in attic with queen trusses but no evidence of crown post.
Smoke blackening of rafters. Probably originally a 3-bay hall house.
