Early C18 brick house with front stuccoed later. Tile-hung sides. Wooden
modillion eaves cornice to steep plain tiled roof. 3 dormers, centre with
segment-headed cornice, outer with steep triangular gable pediments. 2 storeys
and attic; 5 window facade, moulded architrave surrounds with glazing bars
intact. Triple centre 1st floor window, (not tripartite). ½ hexagonal plan
porch with entablature supported by pair of fluted columns, flanking central
portion and pilasters flanking angled portions. Door of 6 moulded panels, fan-
light over. 1-bay ground-floor extension to north side of block with modern
wing added beyond. John Wesley preached in the house in 1763, 1764 and 1769.
