Cloth hall, now house. C15 with C16 extensions, later C17 alterations and C18
and C19 cladding. Timber framed on painted brick plinth and decorative tile
hung to front and sides with timber frame exposed with plaster infilling and
close studding on two large wings to rear. Wooden modillion eaves cornice to
plain tiled half hipped roof to front. Gabled roofs to rear. Brick ridge
stack to left of centre and end stack to right. 2 storeys. Regular 5 window
front with 3 central windows more closely spaced together. Glazing bar sashes,
the outer ground floor ones tripartite. Central panelled door up 4 steps with
fluted Corinthian pilasters supporting segmental pediment filled with heavily
carved scroll work and floral decoration.
