These are little square single-storey buildings on each side of the Parish Church.
A tablet on the North School records: "National Schools the gift of Mrs Ann Thwaytes
1839". Stuccoed. Octagonal buttresses at the angles terminating in pinnacles.
Cornice and parapet between. The South School has 2 square-headed windows with
dripstones over, the North School 1 window of 2 pointed lights.

Nos 39 to 47 (odd) North and South School Rooms, Church of Christ Church and Nos
49 to 59 (odd) form a group.
