C16 or earlier hall house with alterations. 2 storeys, 5 windows, irregular.
Very high pitched tiled roof, half hipped at right, with one gabled dormer.
End chimney stacks. Tile hung front, with brick below ground floor cills in
right part (CHERRY COTTAGE). Cl9 and modern leaded and square paned casements.
Modern gabled wood porch to Cherry Cottage. Back entrance to SPOKE SHAVE in
long, pent back extension. Much exposed timber inside.

The Rock Public House, Barn to East of the Rock Public House, Spoke Shave and
Cherry Cottage form a group.
