Sports pavilion (bowls). 1924 by Sir John Burnet , altered late C20. Painted and rendered brickwork, with boarded iron-framed extension. In origin identical to the adjacent croquet pavilion, with a front arcaded in antis topped with cornice, balustrade and flag pole, and flanked with flights of steps. Projecting from centre an iron-framed and boarded single-storey flat roofed extension, with central double doors. All windows boarded (for winter season). The arcade remains intact and unaltered behind the C20 extension, which does not structurally alter the original building. Part of the Westcliff improvements undertaken by Sir John Burnet and Partners, and included for group value.
