Farmhouse, now subdivided. Dated 1816, with initials J.P. & inscription SPES
MEA IN DEO (In Roman lettering), on panel with moulded frame over main door.
South wing added mid C19; later alterations. Coursed rubble; south wing
rendered. Main house and north wing have corner pilasters and cornice, main
house also has sill bands to both floors. Graduated slate roof with rendered
end chimneys; stone coping and kneelers to main house and north wing. 2
storeys; 5 bays overall (1:3:1). Main block symmetrical: Central panelled door
and rectangular fanlight in stone surround; sash to either side and 3 above.
Sash on each floor in both wings. All sashes with glazing bars; all in stone
surrounds except for south wing, which has segment-headed openings. Former
stables adjoining to south (now garage) not of interest.
