Inscribed "Established 1856", but the building is probably later. Stuccoed,
3 storeys, with pedimented centre (ornamented) and balustraded parapet.
Ground floor has modern shop fronts. Upper 2 storeys have paired Composite
pilasters, partly fluted, and top cornice and frieze. The 1st floor has 2,
3, 2 windows with scroll cornices. The Tangier Street front has 4 windows
on each floor.

Nos 4, 5, the Co-operative Store, Whittle's Furniture Store, The Globe Hotel,
Nos 105 and l05A form a group.
