2 houses. Probably late C17 or early C18. Roughcast stone with slate roof.
East elevation of 2 storeys and 4 bays, the lst bay has raised eaves to this
side only, 3rd and 4th bays project under catslide roof. Varied fenestration;
1st bay has sashed windows with single glazing bars and horns; 2nd bay has
blocked 2-light single-chamfered-mullioned window; 3rd bay has small stair
light. 4th bay has 1st floor window with small-paned fixed glazing and opening
light. C20 lean-to re-entrant porch to Ash Cottage. The Cottage has entrance
with gabled timber porch to 4th bay. Large gable-end stacks, that to right
protects with round shaft. Rear similar.
