9/74 Kingshead House Restaurant


House/restaurant. Late C18. with later extensions. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone with dressed stone quoins;
concrete tiling; yellow brick stacks. Rectangular main body with
an extension at right angles to rear. Two storeys and attic.
Symmetrical 2-windowed facade with two 2-storey dressed stone
canted bays lit by 12 and 16-pane sashes. Projecting part-glazed
C19 gabled porch with double plank doors at front conceals a 6-
panelled door with the 4 upper panels now glazed. Two-light wooden
casement to the attic at the gable end. Flat coping to the gable
ends. Gable-end and axial stacks. Interior not inspected.
