1912. An early picture palace with later minor alterations. Street facade
of 2 storeys, separated by a later canopy; upper part in stucco, of 5 bays,
with balustered parapet, central segmental feature having a circular light,
cornice, frieze, rusticated pilasters, lst floor band, coupled openings
separated by a thin pilaster. Ground floor is a solid wall with irregular
cambered openings. Main feature is the interior, containing foyer,
projecting kiosk (masked by later woodwork), a staircase, elliptical barrel-
vaulted ceiling in auditorium, bow-fronted balcony with moulded front panels
on 2 cast-iron colonettes, plaster proscenium decoration.
