4/227 West lodge and gate-piers

II

Lodge and gate-piers. 1899-1901, by R. Selden Wornum. Red brick with stone
dressings. Boxed eaves to plain tiled roof of lodge. Two moulded and shafted
brick stacks on ridge. H-plan lodge with gabled projections. One storey.
Square bay on end of left projection, deep rounded bay on end of right. Iron
casement windows. Door in central recess. Four banded red brick and stone gate-piers to south-west with stone pedestals, moulded cornices and ball-finials.
