C16/C17 Timber framed house with painted brick infill to square panel framing.
Half hipped thatched roof. Large off centre chimney above off centre entrance
with plank door. 2 windows 1st floor, 3 windows ground floor, all C18/early C19
style casements.
Nos 169 to 175 (odd), gate and railings at No 169 and the street boundary wall
at No 171 form a group with Nos 162 to 174 (even) including the street boundary
wall at No 194, Nos 182 to 190 (even) and No 196. (Nos 175 and 196 are buildings
of local interest).
