C17 and later L-shaped block. Timber framed north west corner now plastered and
colourwashed. Rest of building brick but this may also have an earlier core.
2 gables to each facade. Tiled roof 2 storeys and attic window in gable. Sashes
with glazing bars. Picturesque.
The listed buildings on the Lower Quay form a group, most of which is visible from
the apprcech from the town centre through the Railway Viaduct across Quay Street.
