Former pair of cottages, with later reading room attached at the west end; now one dwelling. C17, C19, with C20 restoration. Walls of flint with brick dressings; quoins, cambered arches to the ground floor. Thatched roof, catslide at rear, eaves raised above dormers, and lowered as a canopy on posts, to form a porch. North front of 1 storey and attic, 4 above 5 windows. Casements. Boarded door (other doorways filled). A small stone is inscribed 1633. Formerly Nos 70 and 71.
