House. 1912, by Inigo Triggs. Of strong vernacular appearance, with sandstone
rubble lower walls and tile-hung upper walls, with scalloped bands. Tile roof,
with gablets above hipped ends, which are brought to a low eaves above outshots,
central gable to the projecting two-storeyed porch. The front (east) elevation has
symmetrical form of two storeys, with irregular arrangement of windows; to the south
side a large 1st-floor staircase window and two circular lights beyond at the
ground floor, to the north side three above two windows, and a cambered head to the
window above the porch. Casements. Arch with keystone to the open porch, the door
having panels of lozenge form. Prominent brick stacks with arched panels. The
roadside entrance has two stone piers, supporting a hipped tiled canopy.
