Small house at end of row. c1820-1840. Painted brickwork or
rendered, slate roof. The property returns to Clifton Place to
the left, with an attached wing.
2 storeys and attic; original 4-pane sash flat-roofed dormer
above a bold 12:18:12-pane bow oriel at eaves level. Ground
floor has a 2-pane display window, and to the left a
part-glazed C19 door in plain reveals to an arch over plain
fanlight. The return gable wall has a small 2-light casement
to the attic, and a panelled dorr in plain reveals to an arch
over a plain fanlight. To the left, in the same plane, the
wall has a 12-pane sash at each level, and a plain parapet. A
deep brick ridge stack to the right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
In an area where there has been considerable modification to
small properties, this remains relatively unaltered, and forms
part of a good group with Nos 62-66 & 68-70 (qqv).
