Bank. 1784. Remodelled and given a new facade by Anthony
Salvin 1854. Red brick and stone. Slate roof. 3 storeys;
5-window range. Rusticated stone ground floor with rusticated
stone quoins extending the full height. Central porch broken
forward with a round archway under a balustrade, all
rusticated. Either side are 2 late C20 arched windows with
rusticated arches, that to the south partly blocked late C20.
Upper 2 floors of brick, each lit through five 2/2 sashes
within rendered surrounds. The first-floor sashes are taller
and have pediments, the second-floor sashes have small
consoles under the sills. Hipped roof with wall stacks north
and south. INTERIOR: late C20 in character.
