House, incorporating former granary. C16 core, extended in C17, further
extended in C19, granary incorporated in 1980. Timber framed on brick and
stone plinth with brick infill below, some in herringbone pattern to left;
colourwashed render infill above. Plain tiled roofs, hipped over granary.
Two storeys. Five framed bays on main house with gable end to street.
Granary range forming return wing. Three diagonal C17 cross ridge stacks
to left of centre, further stacks to rear. Two leaded C20 windows on first
floor, three windows on ground floor. Two first floor windows and one ground
floor window in granary. Door to re-entrant angle in C20 porch recess formed
when the two ranges were joined. Right hand return end - jettied gable with
moulded bressumer on Jacobean style decorated brackets. Oriel window to
first floor, planked door on ground floor. Brick and tile hung pentice to
right.
