Cottage. Circa 1600. Timber framed and plastered with black weatherboarding up
to ground floor window cill level. Gabled thatched roof with 2 eyebrow dormers
to north side and one to south. Of one storey with attics and 2 small gable end
stacks. Lean-to extension at west end of painted-brick with pantile roof.
Windows are C19 casements with a single horizontal glazing bar and the door has
a C20 flat hood. Of 3 bays of timber framing with jowled posts. Possibly a
former open hall.
