2 houses set back from line of Esplanade. Both now form the Marlborough
Hotel. 3 storeys double fronted stucco houses. No 1 has bowed sash windows
and moddillion eaves cornice. No 2 has been altered with "olde" features
to the fenestration. This house is on the site of an ancient chapel of
St Peter, attached to a Cell of Otterton Priory. Most of it was demolished
in 1805, but patches of the old stonework can still be seen.
