C15-16. Low timber-framed building of 2 storeys, with overhanging upper
flour, beneath a steep tiled roof, hipped at the west end where the upper
floor overhangs the River Hiz. Broad central carriage-vay. Ground floor
mostly rebuilt with brick, but projecting beam-ends and an angle bracket
show at the west end over the Hiz, and close vertical studs show along
the front of the upper storey, infilled with plaster. 5 modern casement
windows. Box dormer. RCHM p 122; VCH p 5.

Nos 29 to 32 (consec) form a group.
