Early C17 timber framed building of 2 storeys and attic, 2 windows each on
north and east faces. High pitched, tiled roof with 5 gables on east face,
lower than ridge of roof. North face has large gable the full width of
building an$ west face, to French Row, has hipped, gabled dormers, All faces
now plastered. Attic storey jettied, and resting on curved brackets, one
carved with the date "1637". Casement windows with modern leading to attics.
First floor windows C18 sashes with glazing bars in flush, moulded frames.
Circa 1900 shop fronts on ground floor.
