3/440 Owens Corner

GV II

House. Circa 1840. Long frontage, the left side with white
weatherboarding, the right side in red brick. Slate roof. 2
storeys. Right side has canted sash bay windows either side of
door in a contemporary panelled frame with diamond paterae and a
flat hood on shaped brackets. Right window is restored; left
window has original wood surrounds. Left side is 5 windows,
partly sash, partly fixed panes. Small gable on right with
square bracketed oriel. Left end with tripartite group of
windows, the upper floor with a central canted oriel. Late C19
rear extension. Included for group value.
