GV II

Pair of gate piers to pedestrian entrance. c1834. Ashlar over
brick. Piers are square on plan, approx 2m high. Plinth,
shafts have chamfered angles, frieze and cornices.
A rare surviving example of piers probably specified by RW and
C Jearrad for one of the houses they designed, and an
important part of the overall setting in Malvern Place.
