Includes No 1 Ferry Terrace. Left hand part is similar to Nos 8-10 (qv) namely
C17 gabled 3 storey structure altered in C19. The main front is set back. 1st
floor slate hung, the rest C18, plastered, brick at rear. 3 storeys, 3 windows,
sashes with glazing bars, some tripartite. Good Tuscan doorcase with fluted pilasters
and pediment Modillion cornice, 2 unequal gables, 2 attic windows. Lead tablet
inscribed T N Pake 1788 once part of a cistern. Part tile, part tarred slate roof.
Nos 8 to 10 (consec), Passage Inn, Nos 13 to 15 (consec), the Nail House
and the Nail Cellars form a group.
