2 terraced houses, now offices and attached railings.
c1820-50. Stucco over brick and slate roofs with iron
railings.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement, 6 first-floor windows (3:3).
Stucco detailing includes horizontal rustication to ground
floor except around windows which are in wider recesses with
panel under; first-floor band; to first floor the central
window to each house has cornice on consoles; continuous
frieze and, to right, a moulded cornice. 6/6 sashes in plain
reveals throughout, those to first floor are taller and those
to attic are smaller. Entrances to right of each dwelling:
flight of roll-edged steps to 4-panel doors with side-lights
and continuous overlights. Blocking course with copings, left
end and party-wall stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spearhead area railings and to sides of
steps.
