Lamp standards. c1838. Probably designed by RW Jearrard to
flank stable entrance of the Queen's Hotel, Promenade (qv).
Stone or Coade-stone, painted. Triangular plinths; panelled
triangular bases with crowns, supported on claws. Tall
acanthus stems with 2 rows of fronds and acanthus necking. Gas
holders on top survive, converted to electricity.
