Boundary wall and garden feature. c1830-40. Bath stone ashlar
wall on sandstone plinth with stone coping approx 2.5m high,
and 4m long with 2 panelled ashlar wall piers to west end and
central blocked doorway, then stretch in brick with ashlar
coping approx 60m long, fronting Kew Place. Lodge to east end
of 1 and 2 storeys, brick with barbizan corner turrets and
crenellation, corner piers and narrow windows towards north
and west. The west end was part of the South Lodge.
Forms part of the setting for Thirlestaine House, Bath Road
(qv).
