6/86 Footbridge 100 m north-
- east of Courtledge Cottage

Footbridge over Harbourne River (a stream). Circa C18 although probably
reconstructed in C19. Small clapper bridge with roughly hewn monolithic slate
slabs on four stone rubble rectangular piers. Insubstantial C20 steel tube
balustrade and iron stanchions. It was recorded by James Green the County
Surveyor, in 1809. Reference: C Henderson and E Jervoise, Old Devon Bridges,
pp.37 and 38.
