1877-8, C C Creeke. Elaborately picturesque Decorated style, Purbeck stone with
Bath stone bands and dressings, big foliage corbels to eaves cornice. Gables
of nave and transepts all have similar composition of intricate wheel window
over 5 cinquefoiled lancets, below these, to west and south, trefoil-headed doorway.
Nave windows are cinquefoiled lancets. Polygonal apse has 2-light Geometrical
windows. In angle of south transept, buttressed tower with traceried frieze
and foliated cornice, supporting octagonal spire with 2-light gabled windows
alternating with statues on high plinths, blind lucarnes higher up. In angle
of north transept, canted projection supporting polygonal turret.
