Ashlar facade, 2 storeys and mansard Flemish Renaissance style, 1896. Slightly
recessed centre, 3 windows wide, doorway with grey granite pilasters supporting
scrolled pediment on console brackets, with Royal Arms under smaller segmental
pediment above, 1st floor windows with triangular pediments, 2nd floor dormers
with segmental pediments. Wings have tripartite windows with triangular or segmental
pediment over centre light, big tripartite dormers flanked by swagged wing with
pilasters supporting entablature, on which is a high central erection containing
sculptured crown under semi-circular shell pediment. Slate roof. Blank-walled
brick sides.
