C18. Red brick, band at 1st floor sill. Slate roof with end chimneys, 2 storeys,
5 windows, sashes with moulded exposed frames and late C19 glazing. Centre door
with pediment on brackets and moulded eared architrave. 6 panel door with top
2 now glazed.

No 1. Staplecross Farmhouse and the adjacent milestone, form a group with Hawthorn
Cottage (a building of local interest) on Hawthorn Road.
