C18/early C19 cottage. Northern bay higher and slightly recessed (possibly once
a separate cottage). Roughcast facade, northern bay painted brick. Thatched roof.
2 storeys. 3 windows, late C18/early C19 casements with glazing bars and added
shutters, (except north ground floor which has modern thatched bay). Central entrance
in original southern cottage, 1 storey outshut to south.

Nos 163 to 169 (odd) and Nos 173 and 175, form a group with Nos 168 to 172 (even)
opposite, (No 175 is a building of local interest).
