Early C19. Formerly part of Gundimore, now a separate, though joined, dwelling.
Circular lodge, rendered white, conical slate roof. Single storey, modern casements

The Anchorage and it boundary wall form a group with Scott's Cottage, its boundary
wall and Gundimore (the modern house between is set back in trees and does not
visually obtrude).
