Farmhouse

GV II

House, late C18, extended in early C19. Timber framed, roughcast rendered,
slate roofs. Square plan, aspect S, with one internal chimney stack and one
external stack at E. E extension with end stack, early C19. 2 storeys with
attics. S elevation, central glazed door with plain fanlight, pedimented porch
(columns replaced by poles). One tripartite double-hung sash window of 4-12-4
lights each side, late C18/early C19. First floor, 3 double-hung sash windows
of 12 lights, late C18. Hipped gambrel roof, 3 flat-roofed dormers with double-
hung sash windows of 9 lights, late C18. In E wing, 6-panel flush door with
rectangular light oi.,er, 2 double-hung sash windows of 12 lights on ground flor,
3 on first floor. Roof of shallow pitch. Some crown glass in upper windows
of main block.
